Il Gufo enters a collaboration with RE3, a benefit corporation that has implemented
the patented model of circular economy re-use, re-generate, re-sell (RE3), designed
to reduce the environmental impact of used garments and industrial textile waste.
Thanks to the partnership between the two entities, the end customer will be able
to visit the Il Gufo mono-brand boutiques in Milan, Rome, and Paris
and deliver the used garments they intend to give a second life to.
The collected garments will be analyzed by a social cooperative assigned to sorting operations:
after evaluating their condition, the garment will be resold, reused, or regenerated,
that is, transformed into secondary raw material. Through a unique QR code,
the reuse mode will be shared, and it will be possible to track the path of each garment
in real-time and with total transparency.
Upon delivery to the boutique, the customer will also receive a discount to use on the new collection.
This partnership further confirms Il Gufo's commitment to redefine the standards
of the competitive arena, promoting sustainability practices, and fostering responsible consumption models.
